Sonar Multi-School: Filters

Sonar Multi-School

Overview

This article explains how to use filters in Sonar Multi-School to control which schools and pupils are included when analysing data in your dashboards and reports. Filters let you focus on a subset of schools and pupils based on their contextual data, making it easier to spot trends, identify concerns, and compare performance across your Trust.

If you already use filters in Sonar Tracker, you'll find them familiar here. Sonar Multi-School works in the same way, with a Schools filter in place of a Pupils filter, that lets you narrow your view to specific schools within your Trust.

Select Filters to view and select your filters:

You can combine multiple filters, for example, select Male and Pupil Premium to show only Pupil Premium boys.

After applying your filters, the data you are viewing (in either a Dashboard or Report) is automatically updated based on your selection.
