Sonar Tracker: What data is included locally and nationally in Sonar Tracker's benchmarks?

Sonar Tracker

  1. Sonar Tracker Benchmarking Analysis comprise teacher assessment data from your school, which is compared with results from other schools using Sonar Tracker at both a Local Authority (LA) and National level. 
  2. The benchmarking is based on anonymised, aggregated attainment data submitted by Sonar Tracker schools, three times a year. 
  3. The data included in the benchmarking averages represent around one million pupils.
  4. Sonar Tracker Benchmarking Analysis contains live data for your school, based on the summative assessment data teachers enter. The benchmarking averages data provided at a Local Authority (LA) and National level is static, based on the data collected for the specific benchmarking exercise.

Prerequisites

  • You must subscribe to the Benchmarking module.
  • Benchmarking supports those schools who record their assessments across all 17 Early Learning Goals (ELGs). It does not support those schools who record their assessments in the 7 areas of learning only.
