MIS: How do I set a Default Meal Plan for one or more pupils?

Overview

This article explains how to set one or more Default Meal Plans for one or more pupils from the Meals Log. The Default Meal Plan defines what school meals a pupil has chosen to eat in the future, day-by-day, week-by-week and month-by-month. Use the Default Meal Plan at the start of each academic year, term, half-term or week (based on your needs) to populate the selected pupils' choices.

Instructions

Open Meal Log

From Juniper MIS:

  1. Select Manage.
  2. Select School Meals.
  3. Select School Log.

Set Default Meal Plan

From Open Meal Log:

  1. Select the pupils for whom you want to set a Default Meal Plan:
    • Select one or more pupils individually by checking next to their Full Name.
    • Select all pupils by checking next to the Full Name column title.
  2. Select + Add default meal plan:
  3. From Add Default Meal Plan:
    1. Select a Start Date (from today's date onwards).
    2. Select an End Date (up to the last day of the academic year).
    3. Select a Meal Type for each day of the week to be applied to all selected pupils as their Default Meal Plan.
    4. Select Save.
  4. Repeat the above Steps 1 - 3 for each Default Meal Plan you want to apply to one or more pupils.

Outcome

The Default Meal Plan is applied to each pupil for each weekday in the selected date range:
