MIS: How do I add / edit a note for one or more pupils, staff members or contacts?

This article explains how to record a general note to be added to the profile / record of one or multiple pupils, staff members or contacts from All Notes

Instructions

Open All Notes

From Juniper MIS:

  1. Select Manage.
  2. Select Notes.
  3. Select All Notes.

Add / edit a note

  1. Select Create to add a new note. To edit an existing note, select the note from the Notes list, then select Edit.
  2. Enter / edit the note details:
    1. Select one more Pupils. Staff or Contacts. The note will appear in the record of all selected.
    2. Enter / edit the Subject.
    3. Select / edit the Category.
    4. Enter / edit the Description.
  3. Select Save.

Outcome

The note is saved. It is added to the notes list in All Notes:

Additionally, it is added into pupil record (in the Notes tab) for each named pupil:
