Overview
This article explains how to exclude one or more students from your data permanently by changing their Status to either Guest or Left School (leaver). Students flagged as Guest are excluded from headline figures but not the Grades report. Leavers are excluded from both headline figures and the Grade report.
Prerequisites
- You must be an administrator.
Instructions
- Select DATA > select Keystage and Cohort
- Select Students > Cohort.
- Check Actions next to one or more student that you want to exclude.
- Select Change Status.
- Select either Guest (to exclude them from headline figures but not the Grades report) or Left School (to exclude them completely).
- Select Change Status.
- Re-publish your Student data.
Outcome
The status of each student selected will change to either Guest or Left School.
Students flagged as Guest remain listed as Active Students (On Roll/Guest). They are excluded from headline figures, but not the Grade report
Students flagged as Left School are listed in the Inactive Students (Left School) list. They are excluded from both headline figures and the Grade report.
