Overview
This article explains how to add a new Quick link to your Quick links menu from the Quick link page.
Quick links give users rapid access to a small selection of webpages, or resources, that you think your visitors will want to get to easily. Depending on the design of your site, these may appear somewhere on your homepage, or in the header section of your site:
Prerequisites
- You must have Quick links enabled on your website.
- You must be an administrator to manage Quick links.
Instructions
From the Quick links page:
- Select Add new item:
- From the Quick links >> Submission Edit page:
- Enter a Title for the link (this will appear in the Quick link menu).
- Enter the Link, or select an internal link / file.
- Choose where the link opens (Opens in). If the link goes to other content on your website, it's generally good practice to select Same Window. If it goes to a different website, select New Window.
- Select Update.
Outcome
The Quick link you created has been saved and is available for selection from the Quick links menu in your website.
