Overview
This article explains how to create a hyperlink to a document that is stored on your website.
Instructions
- Navigate to the area of the website where you would like to create the hyperlink.
- Highlight the text to use for the hyperlink.
- Select the Edit tab.
- Select the Link icon to open the Link Info window:
- Select the Link Type as URL:
- Select Browse Server to open your website's File Manager:
- If the document you require has already been uploaded, navigate to it within your File Manager. Select the document. The File Manager window will close and return you to the Link window.
- If the document hasn't yet been uploaded to the File Manager, navigate to the relevant folder, select Upload File and upload your file. When the upload is complete, select the newly uploaded document. The File Manager window will close and return you to the Link window.
- Select OK to close the Link window.
Outcome
The hyperlink has now been created on your page.
