Overview
This article explains how you turn on and configure the cookie notification on your Juniper Website. The cookie notification functionality notifies users that the site uses cookies and asks them whether they want to allow cookies. If a user chooses to allow cookies, they can view third-party content on your website, but if they do not allow the cookies, any third-party content will not be displayed.
Prerequisites
To configure cookie notifications, you must be an administrator.
Instructions
To enable and configure the cookie notification:
- Select Cookies and Privacy from the Website tab:
- Select Cookie Settings:
The Cookie Settings window opens:
- Select the required Cookie Notification Layout from None (doesn't show a cookie notification), Overlay, Bar or Shape. When you select an option, a preview is displayed with any visual settings associated with your selection, for example, when Overlay is selected the following is displayed:
- Change any of the settings as required - select the position where the icon will appear on the screen, its colour and the cookie version.
- Select Save.
Outcome
When a visitor accesses your site they will see the configured cookie notification.
