If you are a public sector body in the United Kingdom you are subject to the accessibility regulations. For example, if you are a state-run school in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales you would be subject to the regulations, meanwhile, an independent school would not be.
While your organisation may not be subject to the requirements, it's good practice to be inclusive to ensure that all members of your community can access your content.
