The information was shared on the Government website in their Understanding accessibility requirements for public sector bodies article.
The article was updated in October 2023 to state that the Government would be looking for sites to be compliant with a more up-to-date accessibility standard (WCAG 2.2A) from October 2024. It was subsequently updated in September 2024 to state how they will monitor and enforce the regulations going forward.
