Juniper Websites: Why are staff in the wrong order/duplicated on the page when pulling through from Staff Profiles?

The main reason that Staff Profiles are duplicated or are displayed in a different order than what you may be expecting is because of inconsistencies in the Category names being used:

  • Category names are case-sensitive. A Category called Teachers is a different Category to teachers. When entering the Category, for example for a group of teachers make sure you use a consistent case for the word teachers, otherwise, the teachers will be displayed in two separate groups.
  • Category names count spaces as characters. When entering your Category name make sure you check that there are no spaces at the end. If you unintentionally enter spaces at the end of a Category, the Category will be treated as a different Category.
