Overview
This article shows you how to view your sitemap. Using the Sitemap View, you can see the structure of your website and how the different pages are connected. You can quickly rename and re-order, create and delete items or, navigate to the various pages in your website. You can also find archived items, which cannot be found in the navigation menus until re-published.
Prerequisites
- Publishers and Writers can only view the sitemap.
- Administrators can create, rename and reorder pages.
Instructions
- Select the Home Tab on the Admin Bar.
- Select Sitemap View:
Outcome
The sitemap opens.
Expand the tree view to explore the sitemap.
You will notice that different types of content have different icons to help you find them easily, for example:
- Standard pages use a page icon.
- Calendar views use a calendar icon.
- News sections or News articles use a newspaper icon.
- Blogs use a diary icon.
- Galleries and Albums use a picture frame.
- Forms use a form icon.
- Archived articles have a yellow folder icon.
Select Visit to open the selected page, from where you can subsequently start editing the content.
Alternatively, select Start Edit to manage the pages in your sitemap.
