Overview
This article explains how to use the Instant Restore feature to restore a news article that has been deleted.
You can only restore a news article for up to 30 days following its deletion.
Instructions
- Select Instant Restore from the Home tab:
- Select News Stories from the Instant Restore window:
- From the list of available news articles that have been deleted, select the title of the news article you want to restore:
- Select Restore to recover the news article to its original location:
As the news article is restored, the We are now restoring your items, please wait... message is displayed. Once completed, the message You have restored this item to the site is displayed. - Refresh your page and check that the news article has been restored.
Outcome
The news article is restored to your news category.
