Overview
This article explains how to archive a news article. When you archive a news article, it is no longer publicly accessible on your website. Archiving an item is different from permanently deleting it. An archived page can be edited and re-published at a later date.
Instructions
From your news article:
- Select Archiving from the Edit tab.
- Select when you want to archive:
- To archive the item immediately, select Archive now.
- To archive on a future date, select the calendar icon or type a date in DD/MM/YYYY format to schedule it. You can also set a time if required.
- Select Save from the Edit tab.
- Select Save Now.
Outcome
The news article is archived immediately or where a date/time has been selected, on that date at the specified time.
