Overview
This article explains how to create a friendly URL for a page on your website. Friendly URLs let you create a human-friendly address for a specific page.
Instructions
- Navigate to the page where you would like to create the Friendly URL.
- Select Custom Fields from the Edit tab:
- From the Custom Fields menu locate Friendly URL.
- Within Friendly URL, enter a single word to identify your page, for example, for an About Us page, enter the word about. Using this example, the URL to access the About Us page will be www.yourschooldomain.co.uk/about.
- Save your page.
Words that cannot be used as a Friendly URL
The following words cannot be used as a Friendly URL:
