Juniper Websites: How do I embed a Lesson Group Component in a webpage?

Overview

This article explains how to add a group of lessons (a Lesson Group) from the Remote Learning add-on to a page, using the Lesson Groups Component.

Prerequisites

To use this feature, you must have access to the Remote Learning feature.

Instructions

  1. Select Components in the Edit tab:
    Insert Content Block
  2. Select  Remote Learning > Lesson Groups.
  3. The Add Component window opens:
    • To display a title above your component, check Include Title, and enter the title text.
    • Select your Api Key. You will only see one API value, for example, Greenshaw Learning Trust.
    • Select Browse to open the Select Lesson Group window. Navigate through the top-level Lesson Groups, selecting the small triangle to the left of the Lesson Group name to expand them as required. Continue to do this until you locate the Lesson Group.
    • Select the Lesson Group to highlight it.
    • Select Select.
  4. The Add Component window reloads. Optionally:
    • Select a different template to style elements of the Lesson Group
    • Enter a value into Limit to restrict the number of lessons displayed. By default, this is set to 100.
    • Select a different Sort Order to change how lessons are organised within the Lesson Group (by Date Created, Name A-Z or by Name Z-A).
  5. Select OK.

Outcome

The Lesson Group is added to your webpage.
