Juniper Websites: How do I create a new page?

Overview

This article explains how to add a new page to your website.

Sometimes it can be useful to schedule the archiving of a page when you create it. This will save you time in the future as you will not need to manually archive items one-by-one.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the page on your website where you'd like to create a new page. The new page will be created under the current page.
  2. Select Create.
  3. Select Page.
  4. Enter a title for your page
  5. Enter the contents of your page.
  6. Optionally, if you want to automatically archive the page at a later date, for example,  the end of the academic year:
    1. Select Archiving from the Edit tab.
    2. In Archive this page on, select the calendar icon or type a date in DD/MM/YYYY format to schedule when the page should be achieved, for example, the last day of the Summer term. You can also set a time if required.
  7. Optionally, if you want to publish the page at a later date:
    1. Select Archiving from the Edit tab.
    2. In Publish this page on, select the calendar icon or type a date in DD/MM/YYYY format to schedule the publication. You can also set a time if required.
  8. Select Save.
  9. Select your save option from Save Now, Save Draft or Send for Approval.
  10. If you have purchased our School News Mobile App and have selected Save Now, Administrators or Publishers can check the option to send a notification to subscribed app users.

Outcome

Your web page will be saved or published based on your save choice:

  • Save Now - Your web page is saved and published immediately (live on your website).
If you have purchased our School News Mobile App, Administrators or Publishers can check the option to send a notification to subscribed app users.
  • Save Draft - Your web page is saved but not published. You can continue editing it from Drafts in the Home tab.
  • Send for Approval - Your web page is sent for review and approval by either an Administrator or Publisher. Once approved the web page will be made live on the site.
