Overview

This article explains how to determine those students in your cohort without KS2 Prior Attainment data.

Instructions 

To identify students with no KS2 Prior Attainment:

1. Select Reports > select KS3/4 > Select Cohort and Data Set > Whole Cohort report.
   
2. Scroll to Attainment / Progress 8 Summary:
   
   
3. Select the Total next to Pupils Included (Progress 8 Coverage):
   
4. The A8/P8 Area - P8 Overview - Students report opens. This lists all students in the cohort who have KS2 Prior Attainment data, and are included in the Progress 8 measure:
   
5. To change this to show the students without KS2 Prior:
   1. Select the Measures tab
   2. Select Add/Remove Measures to open the Headline Measures window:
      
   3. Change Pupils Included (Progress 8 Coverage) from Include to Exclude:
      
   4. Select Apply.

Outcome

All students On Roll in your cohort with no KS2 data have a blank in the KS2 Prior column. These students do not count in Prior Attainment-based measures, such as Progress 8 or SPI.

If students appear with no KS2 Prior that you think should have, contact your Sisra Administrator to double-check their KS2 scores have been entered.
