Sisra Multi-School: Why do our Trust's English and Maths figure appear incorrect?

This article explains what to check in Sisra Analytics if a school's English & Maths (Basics) Measure does not appear correct.

Prerequisites

  • You must be an administrator.

Instructions

If a school's Basics Measure is not appearing correctly, check the following within Sisra Analytics:

Do all relevant students have a Maths, English Language and English Literature grade uploaded within this Data Set?

To check the Grade Count for each qualification:

  1. Open DATA.
  2. Select KS3/4 & Cohort.
  3. Select GRADES.
  4. Select Grades Management.
  5. Select the Data Set.

  6. Check the Grade Count for each qualification, for example, the screenshot below shows a Grade Count of 0 for Maths. As students need an English Literature or English Language grade AND a Maths grade, this will affect the Basics figures:

Have the Maths and English qualifications been set up appropriately via the Matching page?

To check tha the correct QN code has been entered for each qualification:

  1. Open GRADES.
  2. Select Matching.

  3. Check that the correct QN code has been entered, for example, in the screenshot below, the incorrect QN code appears to have been entered for English Literature, so the qualification is not counting towards the Basics measure appropriately

Outcome

The school's Basics Measure now reflects the correct grade counts and qualification matching in Sisra Analytics.
