Overview
This article explains the main file health check issues when uploading KS2 Core Baselines into Sisra Analytics, and how to check/resolve these.
Prerequisites
You must be an administrator.
Instructions
When issues are identified, select Show/Hide Warnings to see the students affected:
Select an error message below to understand the reason for the error and the actions you can take to resolve it:
-
Reason This occurs when one or more students in your file do not currently exist in your student data for this cohort, and therefore, are not recognised.
Actions - If the student should be included, select Continue with the upload to proceed and then import a new student data file including this student, or add the student and their classes manually to Sisra Analytics. See Sisra Analytics: KS3/4: Importing Student Data (Admin) for further information.
- If the student should not be included, either continue with your upload and manually delete the grade(s) within Sisra Analytics, or cancel the upload, remove their grade(s) from your file, and re-upload your file.
- Where many students are flagged, check the Student IDs in the STUDENTS > Cohort. It is likely these do not match the ones in the file being uploaded. If the Student IDs are incorrect, select Cancel the upload and reupload the KS2 Baselines file with the correct Student IDs.
-
Reason This occurs when a student has more than one grade for the same baseline subject in your file, for example, a student with entries for both a grade A and grade B for Maths.
Actions Check whether the student(s) should have duplicate conflicting grades, for example, two exam grades in the same qualification due to a resit.
- If the student should have duplicated grades, select Continue with the upload, and the best/first grade would be used within the reports, depending on whether you’re working with KS5 or KS3/4.
- If the student shouldn't have conflicting grades, remove these from your Excel file and re-upload.
-
Reason This warning is shown when you have grades within your file, but the student's ID or name is missing.
Actions - Select Cancel the upload.
- Amend this for the affected student in your file.
- Save the file and import it.
Outcome
The KS2 Core Baselines should now import correctly without any error messages.
