What Reports are available?

Below we have outlined the reports and views available, and what analysis this provides. Please note: the reports available will depend on the data your Sisra Administrator at school has uploaded, the set up they have completed, and the options they have published with, alongside the types of qualifications your students take.

Headlines

  • Headlines Summary

Shows the official Headline measures for the cohort. The Headlines report shows performance cohort figures (L3 VA, average grade, total entries, etc.), L2 English and Maths Progress, AAB, and more.

For a more detailed breakdown of the figures included in the Headlines report, please see our article - KS5 Reports: Headlines

Performance Cohorts

Each report view provides a breakdown (such as students included, APS per Entry, average grade, etc.) for each of the performance cohorts:

  • L3 Overall
  • A Level
  • Academic
  • T Level
  • Applied General
  • Tech Level
  • Tech Cert

For a more detailed breakdown of the figures included in the Performance Cohorts report, please see our article - KS5 Reports: Performance Cohorts

Best 3 A Levels

An overview of the students included in the ‘Best 3 A Levels’ measure based on DfE guidance. When grouped by Students, this shows the average points and grades they each achieved in qualifications counting towards this measure, the number of slots filled by each student, and also the qualifications filling those slots.

For a more detailed breakdown of the figures included in the Best 3 A Levels report, please see our article - KS5 Reports: Best 3 A levels

Eng/Mat Progress

An overview of the students included in English or Maths progress, along with the progress that has been made from KS4. This is available for each of the views:

  • English Progress
  • Maths Progress

For a more detailed breakdown of the figures included in the Eng/Mat Progress report, please see our article - KS5 Reports: Eng/Mat Progress

Value Added

This report allows you to analyse Value Added scores based on DfE guidance, for groups, faculties, qualifications, classes, and students, and will only include VA eligible grades which count towards the A Level, Academic, or Applied General performance cohorts.

By default, this will show your schools L3 Overall VA score (which is not officially reported on) for all eligible Level 3 qualifications (A Level, Academic, Applied General and Tech Level). If you are looking for a specific performance cohort only, e.g. A Level (Overall), you can use the ‘Add Filters’ option and select a ‘Qualification Type’.

For a more detailed breakdown of the figures included in the Value Added report, please see our article - KS5 Reports: Value Added

Grade Analysis

  • On Track

An overview of the count/percentage of grades Above/On/Below track, comparing the grade achieved in the selected data set with their expected grade, as defined by your Sisra admin.

  • Grade Summary

Shows the count/percentage of each grade achieved, with the column headings based on the grade methods in use for the selected qualifications.

The ‘Display Grades As’ options can be used to change how the grades are displayed. By default, the actual grades are shown, but you can group by DfE equivalent grades (A*-E or DMP), L2 Tech Cert Grades, or Challenge Point Bands, depending on the performance level you’re viewing.
  • Grade List

When viewing the Grade Analysis report with the data grouped by students, the Grade List view will become available. This allows you to view a list of students with a grade in a specific qualification or class, compared with their expected grade as setup by your Sisra admin.

You can also use the Simple and Detailed Grade List tabs to control the level of information displayed on this report too, allowing you to view a more condensed report.

For a more detailed breakdown of the figures included in the Grade Analysis report, please see our article - KS5 Reports: Grade Analysis

Attitude to Learning (AtL)

The views available in the AtL reports reflect the categories set up by your Sisra Administrator, for example some schools may collect AtL for homework, behaviour, and/or effort. The report provides a count/percentage of the judgements achieved for a specific group (e.g. each qualification) in the selected category.

For a more detailed breakdown of the figures included in the Attitude to Learning report, please see our article - KS5 Reports: Attitude to Learning (Attitude to Learning)

Students

The Students shortcut provides quick access to the Grades Analysis > On Track report, grouped by students.

  • Student Overview

To view a student’s overview report, you can click into a student’s name from within any report grouped by students. This will open a sliding panel to the right showing the personalised report for the selected student.

Within the Student Overview, up to four tabs may be displayed, providing different analysis:

  • Student Information – A summary of the student’s individual filter values (e.g. Gender, SEN, etc.) and status within Analytics, which determines how they count towards figures.
  • Simple Overview or Detailed Overview – A condensed or more informative overview of a student’s performance within each qualification they’re taking.
  • Headlines Summary – A summary of how a student has performed and contributed to each KS5 headline performance measure.

For a more detailed breakdown of the figures included in the Students report, please see our article -  KS5 Reports: Student Overview
