Sonar Multi-School
When viewing chart and tabular information from reports or widgets in Sonar Multi-School, you are often presented with a series of View Options:
These options enable you to interrogate the report by a number of categories:
- This view enables you to view your content by School, so you can make comparisons between the different schools in your multi-school environment. Data is displayed by School name, and includes an All Pupils total across all schools in your Trust.
- This view enables you to view your content by Year Group, so you can make comparisons between the different year groups across your Trust. Data is displayed alphabetically and aligns to the year groups configured in Sonar Tracker across your schools. An All Pupils total across all year groups in your Trust is also displayed.
- This view enables you to view your content by Gender, so you can make comparisons between Male and Female pupil groups across your multi-school environment. An All Pupils total is also displayed, so you can compare gender-specific results against all pupils in your Trust.
This view enables you to view your content based on whether a pupil is categorised as Disadvantaged or not, so you can make comparisons between Disadvantaged and Not Disadvantaged pupil groups across your Trust. An All Pupils total is also displayed, so you can compare results against all pupils regardless of their status.
Disadvantaged pupils are defined as:
- Pupils who have been eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) at any point over the last six years.
- Pupils who have been looked after continuously for at least one day in the last year.
- Pupils who have left care through a formal route such as adoption.
- This view enables you to view your content based on whether a pupil is categorised as having a SEN or not, so you can make comparisons between SEN and Not SEN pupil groups across your Trust. An All Pupils total is also displayed, so you can compare results against all pupils regardless of their status.
- This view enables you to view your content based on a pupil's ethnic group, so you can make comparisons between pupils of different ethnicities across your Trust. An All Pupils total is also displayed, so you can compare each ethnicity against all pupils. Only ethnicities that exist in your environment are displayed - where there are no pupils of a specific ethnicity, that ethnicity is not shown.
Only pupils with assessment data are included in these views. Pupils without assessment data are not listed.
Sonar Multi-School is only available to users who are part of an establishment that comprises multiple schools in Sonar Tracker, for example, a Multi Academy Trust, and have the appropriate permission associated with their user ID.
