Juniper Websites: How do I reset my password?

Overview

This article explains how to reset your password if you cannot sign in to Juniper Websites. There are two ways to do this, depending on how your school is set up to access Juniper Websites:

  • Using Portal - you reset your password for your JoinUp account, which you use to sign in to Juniper Websites through Portal using single sign-on.
  • Using Juniper Websites / CMS - you reset your password directly on your website's admin login page. Use this method if your school does not use Portal.

Prerequisites

  • You need the email address registered to your account.

Instructions

Follow the steps for the method that applies to your school.

  • Follow these steps to reset your password through Portal:

    Your password must be at least 8 characters long, and no greater than 70 characters. It must include at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character.

    1. In your web browser, enter the URL for your website followed by /admin, for example, www.yourwebsiteurl.co.uk/admin.
    2. When prompted, select Login with JoinUp:

    5. Select Submit. A confirmation message displays:

  • Follow these steps to reset your password directly in Juniper Websites / CMS:

    New user passwords are automatically checked against known data-breach databases (via Have I Been Pwned) during setup. Where a password has been previously exposed in public data breach, it is blocked from use. Administrator passwords must be a minimum of 16 characters in length. Passwords for users with all other roles must be at least 8 characters long.

    1. From www.yourwebsiteurl.co.uk/admin, select Having trouble logging in?
    2. Enter your Email address.
    3. Select Reset Password:

Outcome

A password reset message will be sent to your email address. Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.

If you cannot see the email in your inbox, check your junk/spam folder.

If you can't send yourself a password reset email, speak to your school's website administrators who will be able to help - there's no need to contact Juniper Education.
