Overview
Many Juniper Education products including Juniper Websites use data that is stored in your MIS. In the case of Juniper Websites you only need to provide us with your Staff details. However, if you want to take full advantage of the Juniper Education JoinUp platform which includes Comms Hub and the Juniper Parents App, you must also provide us with access to the Pupil and Contact details stored in your MIS through Wonde. Comms Hub lets you send email and text messages to pupils and contacts. If you purchase the optional Communicate Module, this uses Comms Hub to send direct messages, newsletters, calendar events and news items from your website through to the Juniper Education App.
Instructions
If you are your school’s Wonde administrator:
- Log in to the Wonde Portal.
- Navigate to the Pending Requests (or similar section) where third-party requests are listed.
- Locate the pending request from Juniper Education.
- Review the requested permissions.
- You must approve access to staff to ensure your Juniper Website functions properly.
- You must approve access to pupils and contacts to take advantage of the Comms Hub features and invite parents to use the Juniper Education App.
- Optionally, to improve the features / functionality of your Juniper Education applications approve access to any other optional data.
If you’re not the school's Wonde administrator, contact your school’s IT support team and ask them to approve Juniper Education's request to access your school's MIS data through the Wonde Portal.
Outcome
After approving access:
- The Wonde administrator will receive a confirmation email.
- Your Juniper Education applications will begin to receive data from your MIS through Wonde.
- Data is automatically pushed overnight from your MIS to Juniper Education's systems through Wonde.
