Overview
This article explains how to add, reorder, or delete School Improvement Plan (SIP) Objectives. SIP Objectives let you record your school's goals, for example around wellbeing or curriculum, so they are saved and visible within Portal. This guide explains how to add, reorder, and delete SIP Objectives from within Portal.
Prerequisites
- You need Account Owner or Account Admin permissions to edit SIP Objectives in Portal.
Add a SIP objective
Follow these steps to add a new SIP objective in Portal:
- Select My School.
Select SIP Objectives top open SIP Objectives:
- Select Add new SIP Objective.
- Select Add new SIP Objective to search through and select a SIP Objective.
- Select Add Objective.
- Repeat these steps to add further objectives.
- To change the order of your objectives, select and hold the grid icon next to an objective's number, then drag it up or down the list.
- Select Save Changes.
Reorder your SIP objectives
Follow these steps to change the order that your objectives appear in:
- Go to My School, then select SIP Objectives.
Select and hold the grid icon next to the objective's number, then drag the objective up or down to its new position in the list and release:
- Repeat for any other objectives you want to move.
- Select Save Changes.
Delete a SIP objective
Follow these steps to remove an objective you no longer need:
- Go to My School, then select SIP Objectives.
Select the delete icon next to the objective you want to remove:
- Select Save Changes.
Outcome
A message confirms any additions / changes / deletions made.
Your current objectives appear in the SIP Objectives panel on your Portal dashboard, where staff with access can view them:
