MIS: How do I create a Behaviour and Exclusions report for one or more pupils?

Overview

This article explains how to create a behaviour and exclusions report within the MIS. This report lets you assess pupil behaviour holistically for one or more pupils. It gives a page per pupil view of any behaviour incidents and exclusions recorded against each pupil.

Instructions

To create a new report: 

  1. Select Reports.
  2. Select My Reports.
  3. Locate Behaviour and Exclusions, then select Create next to the report:
  4. From Create Behaviour and Exclusions:
    1. In Step 1 - Elements, use the filters as appropriate to locate one or more pupils to include in the report. Select the check box next to a pupil to include them, alternatively select all pupils by checking the box next to Full Name:

    2. Select Next.
    3. In Step 2 - Settings, select either a Time Period from the choices available (for example, This week) or alternatively, specify a date range using the Start Date and End Date.
    4. Select Next.
    5. The report opens on Step 3 - Overview / Download:

      1. Select an individual pupil to view their details that will be included in the report. 
      2. Select Export to download a PDF version of the report comprising the details relating to all pupils selected. 
      3. Select Save to save the report. When prompted, enter a name for the report in Report Name and select Save:

Outcome

The report is saved, ready to open at a future time.

If you choose to select a PDF of the report, this will be downloaded to your device. When opened, it is formatted similar to this example:
