Sonar Multi-School: Primary Summative Data Check Summary

Sonar Multi-School

Overview

This article explains the Primary Summative Data Check Summary Report, detailing its purpose, how to access it, the information it includes, and its controls.

Purpose

The Primary Summative Data Check Summary Report provides MAT leaders with a clear and actionable overview of primary summative assessment data completion across year groups, classes, and subjects. It lets MAT leaders monitor which schools have submitted their Primary summative assessments and which have outstanding assessment submissions before any MAT-level deadlines.

It improves visibility of staff engagement with assessment processes and helps identify where support may be needed, if data has not been entered or is incomplete by the deadline.

Using the report, as a leader, you can:

  1. Review and monitor the status of primary summative assessments across your Trust.
  2. Rapidly identify gaps at a school, year group, or class level where primary summative assessments have not been completed, allowing you to follow up with the appropriate staff as needed.
  3. Easily see primary summative assessment data entry completion status through colour-coding of cells for each subject:
    • Green cells indicate 100% of primary summative assessments have been entered.
    • White cells indicate missing data.

If you want to investigate pupil-level summative data completion-related information for pupils within a specific school, see the Sonar Tracker: Primary Summative Data Check Summary Report.
