Comms Hub, Sonar Tracker
Overview
This article explains how to delete a Sonar Tracker observation that has been approved in Comms Hub. When you delete an observation, all related details are removed in both Comms Hub and in Sonar Tracker.
You can only delete approved observations from the current academic year that have been approved. An observation Pending Approval or that has been Declined cannot be deleted. An observation from a previous academic year cannot be approved. If the observation includes multiple pupils, deleting it will remove the observation from all pupils (you cannot delete it for a subset of pupils to whom it was awarded).

Prerequisites
- The observation that you want to delete must be Approved.
Instructions
From within Comms Hub, follow these steps to delete a Sonar Tracker observation:
- Select Approval Log.
- Select Observations to open All Observations.
- Locate the observation that you want to delete using search or the status filter (set to Approved) as needed.

Select the observation Title that has been approved to delete:

From the observation, select Delete:

When prompted, select Confirm to delete:
Outcome
You are returned to All Observations. The observation is deleted. A message confirms this:
The observation will also be deleted in Sonar Tracker and the Juniper Education App.
