Migration & Implementation
- We will agree on a date with you. Once the date is confirmed, the migration will happen after registration that day, and you will be able to use it the following day.
- We can only migrate a limited number of schools at a time, so if you have a preference, please book a call with us as early as possible to secure your slot.
- The majority of your data will be transferred automatically. We are aware that there are a couple of things that cannot be migrated, but you will still have access to them. We can discuss this in more depth during your one-to-one.
- Nothing gets lost, but some things aren't moved over automatically. Anything that isn't moved over will still be available to view and download in Pupil Asset. We can discuss this in more depth during your one-to-one.
- Yes. You will need to re-invite users who will set up their passwords. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is included as standard.
- No. You will be moving to a new system that has more built-in reporting. If you have a report you depend on, please raise this during your call, and we will be able to advise further.
- We will migrate the data for you over a single day.
- Yes. We can work with federations and MATs to phase migrations.
Cost & Packages

To get the free MIS, you need to purchase one of our other products. We also offer a loyalty package, which means you pay no more than you do today, and includes:
- Free MIS.
- Free Comms Tools.

- Free Centralised user Management, SSO and 2FA.

- The free package comprises the core MIS, including Pupil and Staff records, Attendance, Data Returns and Behaviour. It also includes the ability to send SMS and Email.
- We are committing to no price increase for you with a special Pupil Asset Loyalty package that includes all our specialist solutions that are currently covered in parts of Pupil Asset, where, if purchased individually, would cost more. If you want to review what you have, we are happy to do this with you and provide a quote for what you want to keep but the cost depends on the product; how many you have and the number of pupils you have in school.
- Payment functionality will be included with the modules you use such as Meals or Events, with the special Pupil Asset Loyalty package.
- The exact price has not been confirmed yet, but it will cost you no more than you pay today with our Pupil Asset Loyalty package.
- If you intend to stay with Juniper Education, you will have to move.
Integrations

- No, Meals are not transferred to third-parties.
- Yes. SignIn App connection is available through Wonde (https://wonde.com/uk/application/all-things-code/overview).

- Parent Pay integration is available through Wonde.
- You can activate Wonde sync through the settings menu in our software and then providing Wonde with your SchoolID.
Messaging (Email & SMS)
- Currently they are not, but we have translations in our roadmap for the Juniper Education App.
- Yes, you can search in the sent page for email subjects.
- Currently not, however, we are looking to provide this feature in the future.
- All our solutions use Comms Hub to power the communications.
- Yes, the filters in Comms Hub include one for classes.

Parents, App & Payments

- You will need to invite parents to use the app.
- Parents will receive an email inviting them to download and register to use the app.

- Yes, they will set up a different account that will give them access to the new Juniper Parent App.
- At the moment, there is no option to take payments, however, we plan to provide this soon.

MIS Features & Functionality
- The MIS only holds Statutory data assessments, but it is connected to Sonar Tracker, from where you can record pupil assessments.
- Not currently.
- The MIS includes a range of different reports, including those for attendance, in which you can drill down to cohort- and pupil-level analysis. We are regularly adding to the reports we provide, as the MIS grows.
- Yes. The Emergency Evacuation Register is easily access and printed from the reports section of the MIS.

- New starters can be added in bulk via an ATF / CTF.
- If manually creating new pupils, each new record needs to be added separately.
Pupil & Staff Records
- Yes, multiple notes can be recorded for each pupil, contact and staff member.
- Yes, indicators display in the pupil's profile.

Reports & Data
- Reports can be generated in Sonar Tracker, then exported, edited ready to email to parents.
- A variety of pupil assessment data and analysis reports are available in Sonar Tracker. We will work with you to configure your Sonar account and transfer your data as part of your migration.
Trust / MAT Functionality
- You can have Trust level logins providing access to multiple schools.
- Trust staff can view the attendance of individual schools. Reporting at a Trust level is coming soon.
Staff Access & Classroom Use
- This is determined by the access permissions they are granted. We can discuss your needs during your one-to-one.
- Currently, register reminders are sent by email, and not dependent upon the MIS being open.
