Juniper Websites: How do I delete an internal or external link from a Sub-page block?

Overview

This article explains how to delete an internal or external link from within a Sub-page block. You can do this from either the Sitemap View or from within the page where the Sub-Page block link has been created.

Instructions

Follow the steps below to delete an internal or external Sub-page link (select the appropriate tab based on your needs):

  • From the Sitemap View (recommended)

Follow these steps to delete an internal or external Sub-page link using the Sitemap View:

    1. Select Home.
    2. Select Sitemap View:
    3. From the Sitemap, locate the link that you want to delete.
    4. Select Start Edit:
    5. From Edit Mode:
      1. Right-click the link that you want to remove.
      2. Select Delete.
    6. When prompted, select Delete to confirm:
    7. After being prompted that your changes have been saved, select End Edit:
    8. Close the Sitemap View
  • From the Sub-page block

Do not use this approach to delete Sub-pages - it will not delete the page, only the link to the page. See Juniper Websites: How do I delete a Sub-page?

Follow these steps to delete an internal or external Sub-page link from within the page holding the Sub-page block:

    1. Open the page where the Sub-page block is used in your website (in this example, the Key Information page):

    2. Double-click the Sub-page block:
    3. From the Sub-page Block, select the delete icon next to the Sub-page block item that you want to delete:
    4. Select OK.
    5. Save your page (see Juniper Websites: What do the different save options mean?).

Outcome

The internal or external link is removed from your website. It will not be available in the Sub-Page block or through the Sitemap View.
