Sisra Analytics: How do I manage Datasets in Grades Management? (Admin)

Overview

This article explains how you can manage Datasets in the Grades Management area of Sisra Analytics.

The Manage Datasets view lets you choose which dataset or assessment collection to inspect. Once selected, the system shows a summary table of all qualifications configured for that dataset and highlights any setup warnings.

Prerequisites

  • A dataset or assessment collection with at least one uploaded grades file.

Instructions

Follow these steps to manage datasets:

  1. Select DATA.
  2. Select Key Stage.
  3. Select Cohort.
  4. Select Grades.
  5. Select Grades Management, to open the Manage Datasets page.
  6. From Select a data set to continue, select the data set you want to view, for example, Exams and Assessments.
  7. If you select Assessments, select the assessment collection:

Outcomes

The full Grades Management page opens for the dataset:

The page comprises the following columns:

Qualification Name A list of all your qualifications that have been set up on the Matching page (whether there are any grades uploaded for that qualification or not).
Classes The name of the set of classes assigned to each qualification.
Grades Count The number of grades uploaded for each qualification in this data set of assessment collection.
Attitude to Learning Up to three columns that display the number of each Attitude to Learning judgement that has been uploaded for each qualification, in this data set or assessment collection. In the example above, these are configured as Attitude, Behaviour and Organisation, but you may have other labels.
EAP The EAP that has been assigned to the qualification on the Matching page.
Grades Method The Grade Method that has been assigned to each qualification on the Matching page.
Actions Always display a magnifying glass symbol that when selected will tak you to the Manage Qualifications page. It may also contain other symbols with links for resolving warning errors (see Sisra Analytics: How do I fix the different warnings in Grades Management?).

From here you can:

  1. Review summary counts; select any numeric count to drill into student-level records.
  2. You can see which qualifications are present for the chosen dataset and how many grades / AtL judgements exist for each.
  3. You can jump directly from counts to the underlying student records.
