Internal Scrutiny: What is Internal Scrutiny?

Internal scrutiny in an education setting is a requirement for academy trusts.

[Its purpose] is to provide your board (and ESFA) with assurance that the trusts system of internal control is effective and contributes to strong governance, risk management and control arrangements at the trust.
