We are aware of an issue where contextual updates are showing as invalid when being imported into Target Tracker.

If you get a message telling you the file is invalid or one saying that 'some pupils have already been imported', or simply find that some children are not in Target Tracker after the import.

The issue is likely to be that the file contains either:

  • Children born after 31/8/2022, or
  • Children with new ethnicity codes that Target Tracker does not recognise.

Due to the migration of all customers to our new web-based Tracking software, Sonar, we are unable to create new TT releases to resolve this. Although we are happy to talk you through this, we have also produced this interactive flowchart to support you:
