Due to changes made to CTFs this academic year, you may find the CTF you have exported with your EYFS, Phonics or KS2 data in is rejected by your Local Authority, Primary Assessment Gateway or MIS.

If this is the case we advise that you either

• (Recommended) Create the CTF for your MIS from Target Tracker: File > Export > Data for MIS, import this into your MIS and then create your Data Return there, or
• Edit the file you have created - guidance below - and upload this (this has to be done accurately);

1. Change the CTF version to 24.0. 

This is simple to edit by;

right clicking on the CTF you downloaded from Target Tracker and

selecting open with...

Notepad

Changing <CTFversion>21.0</CTFversion> to <CTFversion>24.0</CTFversion>

Like this;

2.Change the <Gender> and </Gender> tags to <Sex> and </Sex>

once you have right clicked on the filename and selected

open with....Notepad

Select Edit

Select Replace

Replace <Gender> with <Sex>

and </Gender> with </Sex>

Like this:

Select File and Save.
