The AI Content Assistant is built into the content editing toolbar in your website CMS.  It uses OpenAI technology to help you customise your writing to suit your subject and audience.

You can either re-write text that already exists on the page or open the AI Content Assistant and start from scratch. Whichever method you select to re-write your content, the AI tool will automatically tailor the output to ensure that it uses:

1. UK English.
2. Plain English, in line with crystal mark.
3. Language appropriate for schools.
4. A reading age of 12 years old.
5. A professional, friendly, informative and inclusive tone of voice.
6. No emojis.

Accessing the AI Assistant

1. Navigate to the page you would like to edit
2. Select the content area on the page where you want to add your text or, select some existing text you'd like to re-write.
3. Select the AI Assistant tool from the editor toolbar to open the AI Content Assistant:

If you have selected some text to re-write, it will appear in the Input area, if not you can type the text you would like into this field.

Generating AI content requires credits.  The number of credits used depends on the number of characters in both the original and output content.  You will be warned if credits are low and the AI Content Assistant won't be able to generate content if they fall below zero.

1. Select the Writing style you would like to have your content re-written with:
   • Rewrite – rewrites the content with little tone of voice direction.
   • Summarise – highlight and rewrite the main points of the text.
   • More fun - writes with a fun tone of voice.
   • More formal - writes with a formal tone of voice.
   • Shorten - shortens the text.
     
2. Select Generate.
3. The AI-generated content will be populated into the Output area.
4. If you are happy with the rewritten content, select OK. The new wording will be added to the page, replacing any content you selected at the start of the process.

AI Credits

We have gifted 10,000 credits to get you started, once these have been used additional bundles of 1,000,000 can be purchased by an administrator of your website.

1. To purchase a bundle, navigate to the Add-Ons tab on the Admin bar.
2. Scroll down to Integrations.
3. Select the AI tile:
   
4. To make a purchase, enter your purchase order number (if required by your finance team) and select Pay.  This will send your order to our accounts team, who will invoice accordingly.
