Summer Term 2025 - We expect Data Returns for LAs / Data for MIS CTFs to need editing

We are expecting that Target Tracker Data Return CTFs to need editing before sending to LAs and being imported into some MIS due to the CTF version failing their validation checks. The Target Tracker CTF is version 21.0.

To resolve this edit the Data Return / Data for MIS file you have created (File > Export > Data Return / Data for MIS), changing the version from 21.0 to 24.0. Resolving an invalid data return CTF before saving and submitting / importing it.

07 March 2025 - Contextual update files invalid

We are aware of an issue where contextual updates are showing as invalid when being imported into Target Tracker.

Due to the migration of all customers to our new web-based Tracking software, Sonar, we are unable to create new TT releases to resolve this. Although we are happy to talk you through this, we have also produced this interactive flowchart to support you:

13 February 2025 - Some LGFL users experiencing Target Tracker access issues

We are aware that some LGFL users are experiencing inconsistent issues throughout the day. The issues are either being unable to login or Target Tracker crashing during a session;

Our colleagues at LGFL are currently working with us to investigate and resolve this. If you are a LGFL school experiencing the issue please contact them directly. If you are not a LGFL school but are still having difficulties accessing Target Tracker please contact our support team.

In the meantime you will be able to access Target Tracker when not accessing the internet via your school network so if you are able to use a mobile hotspot or a home network you will be able to use Target Tracker uninterrupted.

01 September 2024 - CTF 24 show as invalid when importing into Target Tracker - Ongoing

**ALL CTFs created in other systems will need editing before importing.***

You will need to edit the CTF version from 24.0 to 22.0.

You will also need to edit the new 'sex' tag to say 'gender'.

These have been programmed in - if you are already viewing the tracking grid, you will need to log out and in again to see the change.

Due to changes in the specification of CTFs this year, which would involve a software release to resolve, we expect that you will need to edit the KS2 file before importing into Target Tracker - Editing the KS2 file from the PAG

Once edited, import by selecting File > Import > Update Assessments and browsing for the saved edited file.

24 June 2024 - MTC file will need editing before importing into Target Tracker

Due to changes in the specification of CTFs this year, which would involve a software release to resolve, we ask that you edit the MTC file before importing into Target Tracker - Resolving an invalid CTF for 2023-24 Academic Year

Once edited, import by selecting File > Import > Update Assessments and browsing for the saved edited file.

07 March 2024 - Unable to access Target Tracker

Some schools have reported being unable to access Target Tracker today, this is due to IP address changes made by Microsoft. If your school approves individual IP addresses, then you will need to update the approved list in order to access Target Tracker. Further guidance on resolving this access issue can be found at the link below.
