Overview
This article explains how to copy or move grades from one qualification to another within the same data set / assessment collection. You may want to do this when grades have been accidentally uploaded to the wrong qualification, or if you only collect assessments for one qualification in a subject area and would like to copy them into another qualification in the same subject area.
Instructions
The example below is for copying grades in KS3/4, but the process is the same for both copying and moving in KS3/4 and KS5.
Follow these steps to move / copy grades:
- Select DATA.
- Select Key Stage.
- Select Cohort.
- Select Grades.
- Select Grades Management to open the Manage Datasets page.
- Select a data set or assessment collection:
- Select Grades Count for the grades that you want to move / copy to another qualification:
- From Grades Management Details:
- Scroll to the students' grades table.
- Select the student's whose grades you want to move / copy. Either:
Select the checkbox next to Grade to select the first 100 grades:
You are limited to move / copy 100 grades at a time. If you choose this approach and you have more than 100 grades, you must repeat Step 8 and Step 9 to move / copy all grades.
- Select the checkbox next to individual grades to select them one-by-one:
- Either select Copy (to copy grades) or select Move (to move grades):
- When prompted, to copy / move grades:
- Select the destination.
Select Copy / Move.
This cannot be undone.
Outcome
The grades are copied / moved to the destination that you selected.
After all grades have been copied / moved, republish your grades to update your reports.
