Juniper Websites: How do I add audio to a page?

Overview

This article explains how to embed audio content on a page using a file from your computer or a link to an online resource.  You can, for example, use this to share a story, a podcast or a radio programme.

Instructions

  • Select the content area, where you would like to embed the audio.
  • Select the Edit tab.
  • Select the Insert HTML5 audio icon:

    The Insert Audio window opens:
  • To open an online audio file, for example, a podcast, this can be pasted into the URL field.
  • To open an mp3 or ogg file that you want to share from your device: 
    • Select Browse Server to open your File Manager.
    • Open the Audio Files folder.
    • Select or create a folder to add the audio file.  If you do not see an audio files folder, contact us.
    • To upload, drag the file from your computer, or use the upload option to select it.
    • After the audio file has been uploaded select it and return to the Insert Audio window 
  • Optionally, set the alignment of the audio player on the page.
  • Optionally, select the advanced options tab to set Autoplay, Download and Advisory Title.
  • Select Save on the Edit tab and choose the desired save option. For more information about save options, visit Juniper Websites: What do the different save options mean?

Outcome

The audio content is now embedded in your page.
