KS5 - Switching Report Options (Viewing Count/Percentage, Standard/Cumulative, Sub/Whole grades)

When viewing certain report views in KS5, you will be presented with default options selected, however, they can be amended depending on the figures you're looking for and how you would like them displayed. For example, to view percentages instead of counts.

The options vary depending on the report you're viewing, however, you can amend the following which is explain further below:

Count  / Percent

You can use the OPTIONS to the right of the report to change how they are displayed, for instance to switch between viewing the count or percentage. mceclip1.png

For example, this can be used to view the number or percentage of students above/on/below track in each qualification.

Standard / Cumulative

The Standard / Cumulative toggle is available on the Grade Summary view, and allows you to switch between viewing standalone grades or combined grade ranges.

For example, this can be used to view how many standalone grades (e.g. A*, A, B, etc.) or grade ranges (e.g. A*- A, A*-B, A*-C, etc.) have been achieved in each qualification.

Sub Grades / Whole Grades

The Sub Grades / Whole Grades toggle allows you to switch between including and excluding sub grades when viewing the following:

  • Above/On/Below Track columns on the On Track report view.
  • On Track filter options on all report views.
  • On track colour coding OR comparison colour coding when using Compare With
  • Grade column on the Grade List and Student Detail report views.

For example, if a student achieved a grade B- but was expected to achieve a B+, using the Sub Grade toggle, the student would be classed as BELOW TRACK. However, when Whole Grade is selected, the sub grade would be ignored and the student would be ON TRACK. This does not affect any points based figures.
