Data Collection Management

Within Data Collections, this details of the number of Schools Contributing to each Data Collection, allows you to select whether the data collection is Displayed in Reports and also choose which data collection is displayed as the 'Default'.

You have a drop down option which allows you to select a Key Stage and a year group (options are updated individually per year group

You will then be able to see a list of the currently available Data Collections, for example:

You will also be able to see the number of Schools Contributing within the trust per Data Collection, e.g. in our example there are 4 schools contributing to the KS4 Exams - Mocks collection.

Each new Data Collection will be defaulted to "No" under the Display in Reports column.

We have done this to prevent partial data being displayed, you can turn this on at any point but we recommend after all schools within the trust have uploaded their data to ensure you have complete data collections at this point.

You have a 'Default' Data Collection for each year group, you may wish to set the current term as your default. This option means your users will then always land on that particular Data Collection first when they log into the report or switch between year groups.

School Joining Dates

If necessary, you are able to amend the dates in which each school joined your Trust in this section. This is important to ensure KS4 MAT-related figures are calculated correctly when applying DfE weighting.
