Pupil Asset: How to force a manual synchronisation of your school's data

What does the MIS sync do?

The MIS sync keeps your pupils, and their associated contextual data (for example, attendance and SEN status) up to date. So the data held in your MIS will always match that in Pupil Asset.

Ordinarily, the sync runs daily, overnight, so changes you make in your MIS will not immediately appear, but they should be there by the next working day.  However, on occasion, due to unforeseen system issues, you may find that the sync has not ran to schedule.

Whilst Wonde and Pupil Asset work to resolve this issue you can, as an interim measure, manually force a synchronisation of your school data and the steps you need to follow are outlined below.

N.B.  You must have a user access level of AdminPlus or higher to undertake this action

Select Admin > Import > MIS Sync from Wonde

Click on the button 'Run Sync'.

The process will take a few minutes to complete after which the timestamp will show todays date confirming that the synchronisation has been successful.
