The Parent App has now been fully disabled, parents need to use the Parent Portal. Further guidance on using the Portal can be found here Parents Portal overview – Juniper Education (New) (zendesk.com)
Parents who downloaded the app before it was removed from the app stores in March 2023, may still have been accessing the app up until now. They no longer have access to the app, they should uninstall it and use the Parent Portal instead.
The Parent Portal was updated in 2023 to provide improved functionality, usability and overall experience when accessing the portal through mobile devices.
Due to issues within the Parent App around parents evening and bookings, alongside the improvements made to the Parent Portal, the decision was made to remove the Parent App from the App stores on Apple and Android in March 2023. Parents will need to use the Parent Portal instead of the Parent App.
Parents can access the Portal from secure.pupilasset.com via a browser (mobile device, Mac, PC or Laptop) using their existing login credentials. This can also be added to the home screen giving it the same easy accessibility as an App.
Any parents who have already downloaded the app should stop using it and uninstall the app.
We have prepared communications that can be sent to parents with instructions of how to uninstall the App (if installed) and how to access the parent portal.
Communication that can be shared with parents regarding the Parent App:
Parent App
Pupil Asset have removed the Parent App from both Apple and Google Play Stores, with Parent App functionality now being provided by an improved and mobile compatible version of the Parent Portal.
If you have already downloaded the App to your mobile device, this App is no longer accessible and will need to be uninstalled. Instead, navigate to the Parent Portal via https://secure.pupilasset.com on your mobile device’s browser where you can login using your existing login credentials. The Portal can also be accessed via a browser on a Laptop, PC or Mac.
The Parent Portal has a similar menu structure to the App where you will be able to view your pupil’s profile and access the features that your school has enabled.
For quick access, the Portal can be added to the home screen of your mobile device.
