Pupil Asset: How to create CTFs for Statutory data transfer

To view the full DfE guidance on assessment and reporting, see the Key stage 1 and 2 assessment data collection link here

This help guide assumes that you have already entered your statutory results data into Pupil Asset.  Should you need a reminder on how to go about this process please refer to these guides:

Entering Statutory EYFS data via the Results menu – Juniper Education (New) (zendesk.com)

Entering KS1 & KS2 Statutory data – Juniper Education (New) (zendesk.com)

How to enter KS1 Phonics data via the Results menu – Juniper Education (New) (zendesk.com)

How to enter Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) data via the Results menu – Juniper Education (New) (zendesk.com)

Once the data has been entered into our system you can then submit this to your Local Authority / DfE via a series of CTF's.

To create an export, head to Admin > Export > CTF Format and complete the following Steps:

  •  Step 1: use the filter block to choose the pupils you wish to create the CTF for
  •  Step 2: choose who the data is for (My LEA for EYFS and KS1, DfE for KS2

  •  Step 3: choose the relevant CTF Type:
  •  Step 4: select the 'Generate CTF' button to download the CTF for upload to the LA / DfE:mceclip2.png

Troubleshooting!

If you find that your statutory data is not pulling through to the CTF please check that your results have been entered into the correct columns.

As per the screenshot below, statutory data needs to have been entered into the columns whose headings are in black.  It is the data contained within these columns that is automatically exported in the statutory data transfer process to your LEA.

If the data has been entered into a column that has been created by the school (the column name will be in blue font) it will need to be copied into the statutory column.
