Sisra Analytics: How do I group qualifications by faculty in my reports? (Admin)

Overview

This article explains how to create a Faculty and assign Qualifications to it. Using Faculties, you can group Qualifications in reports, enabling you to analyse an individual faculty's outcomes at either a qualification level or holistically at a faculty Level.  A Science Faculty can group Combined Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics qualifications.  The Head of Faculty can filter reports by the Science Faculty to analyse the faculty's qualifications separately or as a whole.

Prerequisites

You must be an administrator.

Instructions

Follow these steps to create a Faculty and assign Qualifications to it:

  • To create a Faculty:

    1. Select CONFIG.
    2. Select Faculty:
    3. Select Create Faculty.
    4. From the Create Faculty window:
      1. Enter a Faculty Name.
      2. Select Create.
  • To assign Qualifications to the Faculty on a cohort-by-cohort basis:

    1. Select DATA.
    2. Select Key Stage.
    3. Select Cohort.
    4. Select Grades.
    5. Select Matching:
    6. Select Edit.
    7. Work down the list of Qualifications, selecting the Faculty for each Qualification that resides in your new Faculty:
    8. After setting all relevant Qualifications to the Faculty, select Save Changes.
    9. Repeat the above steps for each cohort as necessary.

Outcome

The Faculty has been created with Qualifications assigned to it. The Faculty can now be selected to filter reports.
