The Learning Sequences in Sonar Curriculum helps staff during the planning process by detailing the sequence of teaching and learning for every subject.
Learning Sequences:
- Support the planning process
- Guide teachers through the sequence of teaching and learning.
- Free up time for staff to go and plan purposeful, engaging and challenging lessons for their class.
- Lesson plans are not supplied which is a deliberate decision as we cannot assume an individual school’s pedagogical approach, teachers, children or context; therefore, lesson plans are too prescriptive / inflexible.
