Overview
This article explains how to configure a member of staff as a SENCO (Special Education Needs Coordinator) for a parents' evening.
When a staff member is assigned as a SENCO, they can be added to parents' evenings, allowing parents of pupils with special educational needs to book a meeting / consultation with them (in addition to the class teacher).
If the staff member designated as a SENCO changes before a parents' evening has been published, the draft parents' evening will be updated to reflect the change in SENCO. Where the SENCO is changed after a parents' evening has been published, the change will not be applied. You will need to manually make the update as required to the individual parents' evening.
