This information is People First Payroll specific.
Within People First, payrolls are structured in the following way:
Departments are set up as Schools. For each School, there is a Head Teacher. For each Head Teacher, there is a sub-department for Teaching, Supply, Support, and Casual. Within each of the sub-departments, there are different role types, for example, administrative assistants and teaching assistants. For each role, the specific employees are attached.
Each Department has its own Finance Reference Number (FRN, which were previously referred to as Cost Centres).
