Introduction

This article explains how to remove a custom scrolling banner from your website. 

Prerequisites

1. You must have the custom scrolling banner feature on your website.
2. You must have created your scrolling banner using the custom scrolling banner feature (not by adding a news item and marking its priority as urgent)

Instructions

Follow these instructions to remove a custom scrolling banner:

1. Open Custom Data from the Website tab:
   
2. Select Scrolling Banner:
   
3. Delete your message from the Text box:
   
4. Select Update.

Outcome

Your banner is removed from the homepage.
