Juniper Websites: How do I embed a photo gallery in a webpage?

Overview

This article explains how to use a Photo Gallery Block / Component to display a gallery and all the albums it contains that are stored in your website. You can choose whether to display the albums as a selectable grid, or a list.

Prerequisites

You must have previously created a photo album within a photo gallery on your site.

Instructions

  1. Select Blocks / Components in the Edit tab:
    Insert Content Block
  2. Select Website content > Photo Gallery:
  3. The Photo Gallery Block window opens:
    • To display a title above your component, check Include Title, and enter the title text.
    • Select browse to choose your Source gallery. A tree view of your site will open, listing items with existing galleries. Use the tree to choose the gallery you want to embed in your page, then select Select.
    • Select your Template from:
      • Grid - Each album in your chosen gallery will be displayed as a block in a grid layout.

      • List - This option will output a list of the albums in your chosen gallery showing the album thumbnail image, alongside it's title and date.

    • Enter the number of albums to display from your gallery by entering a number in Limit.
    • Optionally, change the Sort Order. By default, the albums will be displayed in the order they appear in your gallery. You can select to order them by date or alphabetically.
  4. Select OK.

Outcome

The photo gallery is added to your webpage.
