Sisra Analytics: What does publishing reports mean? (Admin)

Publishing reports in Sisra Analytics means updating your cohort reports with the latest data you’ve entered.

Each data area has its own publishing section (Students, KS2/EAP or KS4/EAP (depending on Key Stage), and Grades).  After making changes in any of these sections, you must publish your updates to populate the reports.

In the case of a new cohort, you must publish in the following order:

  1. Students.
  2. KS2/EAP or KS4/EAP (depending on Key Stage).
  3. Grades.

For future changes, you usually only need to publish the area that was updated. However, some changes will involve publishing multiple tabs. For example, if you update a student’s KS2 data, you must republish both the KS2/EAP followed by the Grades sections to make sure calculations update correctly.

Where changes have been made within an area that needs to be republished, the republish icon is displayed on the tab:

Not all changes will prompt this icon. To ensure the reports are fully up to date, we suggest republishing Students, KS2/EAP or KS4/EAP (depending on Key Stage) and then Grades (in that order).

Some figures in the reports use KS2 or KS4 baselines and Grades data (for example, Progress 8 in KS4 or Value Added in KS5). After you select Grades and then Publish Grades, the system highlights data sets need updating:

A republish icon appears next to any grades that haven’t been republished since the last KS2/EAP or KS4/EAP update, making it easy to spot grades that must be republished to reflect your changes:
